7 Books Every Woman Entrepreneur Should Read

Date

One new idea, one tiny shift in your mindset, or one story can change you and your business. Books are powerful that way.

Hopefully, you have some time off as the end of the year approaches. We asked our founder and CEO, Ingrid Vanderveltd, if she could share her favorite books on mindset, money, and business, and she sure delivered! Here are six reads plus one soon-to-be-published to get you thinking and excited about what’s next.

  • Overcoming Underearning by Barbara Stanney-Huson

Why I like it:  She was raised the daughter of an H&R Block founder and thought she was financially set for life.  When her husband left her, and her dad gave her the ultimatum in her 40s, this single mom “figured it out” after “the click” went off in her head on building the life and the wealth she imagined.  Fast, easy read for anyone!

  • The First Billion is the Hardest:  T. Boone Pickens

Why I like it: For anyone dreaming big, this is a great read on how to chart your pathway to significant impact and wealth from one of America’s most prominent (late) entrepreneurs.

  • Money, Manifestation, and Miracles by Meriflor Toneatto

Why I like it: A guide to transforming women’s relationships with money.  I love this book so much that when the author asked me to write the forward when it was re-released – it was one of my greatest joys!  If there were any book I could write on finance, this would be the one.

  • Called To Create by Jordan Rayner

Why I like it: I love this book as it highlights one man’s journey to living the life he was “called to create” and how you can too.

  • Chasing Bentley’s by Melissa Burrow

Why I like it: I absolutely love this book and have read it a few times.  Melissa shares her journey of overcoming her own self doubt to achieve the life and business she was meant to create!

  • Overcoming Self Sabotage by Pat Pearson

Why I like it:  One of our most popular books inside the EBW Network, Pay gives actionable tips on how to get out of your own way and live the life you were meant to live!

  •  Be The ONE!  A BRIDGE to Making the Impossible, Possible in the new SHEconomy World by Ingrid Vanderveldt

Coming out in 2025: I am SO excited to share with the world the 7 steps (A BRIDGE) to meeting women where they are at and helping them get to where they are meant to go!  BONUS:  Each chapter captures my favorite books on the subject of that chapter.

We hope you enjoy our book suggestions. It’s a great time of year to recalibrate and get inspired as 2025 quickly approaches!
